Who we are.
SleepSet is the data controller for the personal information described in this policy. SleepSet provides personalised, educational sleep guidance to adults in the UK. Contact us at sleepsetz@outlook.com or 07344 367828. SleepSet is registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
Information we collect and why.
We may collect your name, email address, telephone number, booking and payment information, correspondence, completed sleep diary and questionnaire, and information about your sleep, routines, lifestyle, wellbeing or health that you choose to provide. We use this information to provide and administer the Sleep Snapshot service, communicate with you, process payments, keep appropriate business records, improve our service and comply with legal obligations. Our Article 6 lawful bases are performance of a contract, legal obligation and, where appropriate, our legitimate interests in operating and improving SleepSet. Sleep and health information may be special-category data. We process it only with your explicit consent under Article 9(2)(a) of the UK GDPR. You may withdraw that consent at any time, although this may prevent us from completing the service.
How we use, share and protect your information.
Your diary and questionnaire are used only to prepare your Sleep Snapshot. We collect information directly from you when you contact us, book, pay or send completed documents. Booking and contact details are needed to fulfil the service. Health information is your choice, but without enough information we may be unable to provide a meaningful review. We do not sell your information or use automated decision-making or profiling.
SHARING
We may use trusted Wix, email, payment and cloud-storage providers only where needed to operate the service and subject to appropriate safeguards. If a provider processes information outside the UK, we rely on appropriate UK data-transfer safeguards.
RETENTION
Diaries and questionnaires are deleted within 90 days after your personalised report is sent. Your report and service correspondence are deleted when no longer needed, unless agreed otherwise or required by law. Basic transaction, invoice and accounting records may be kept for the period required by UK tax and accounting law.
SECURITY
We take reasonable measures to protect personal information. Email is not completely secure, so include only the information requested and check the recipient address.
YOUR RIGHTS
Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to processing, data portability, and withdrawal of consent. Contact sleepsetz@outlook.com to exercise your rights. You may complain to the ICO at ico.org.uk.
CHILDREN
SleepSet services are for adults aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect children’s information through this service.
